Photography: Symmetric nonmonotonicity

Got this oh so interesting, monotous photograph when visiting the harbour area of Lemvig, Denmark recently.
I’ve inverted the colors in a part of the picture to create an interesting feeling of nonmonotous symmetry to it.
It’s rather strange, but I actually like it a lot.
