Long exposure photography: Pedestrian crossing

By moving the camera and using long exposure, you can really create some interesting, abstract photographs.
In this example I’ve moved the camera while exposing in 1/160 sec and photographed this everyday motif, a pedestrian crossing.

When moving the camera, you’re not always sure what you’re ending up with.
Ending up with this very symmetric photograph was pure luck.
To add another dimension to the picture besides the symmetry, I’ve inverted an area.

The photograph is edited in Camera Raw and Photoshop. Both contrast and black is increased a lot.
